Making Your Career Better, One Day at a Time
So you're like most people and there's a lot to do. And among the many things you want to do, you want to advance your career.
I'm assuming you have a long-range plan for your career (if not, why not?) but long-range plans need to be implemented in the short term. To do that, I'd encourage 2 things for to make your career work.
First is look at your long-term goals every day. (Your goals should be broad enough and short enough to fit on a 3x5 index card). Read those goals. Burn them into your mind. Keeping them in mind gets your subconscious working toward bringing them to fruition.
Second, commit yourself to doing something every day to bring your long-term goals to pass. It may be a small "something," but committing yourself to action is vital. Otherwise, your goals become dreams, which may or may not come to pass. Do something. Today.
